[FONT=comic sans ms]Seguro que muchos recordareis el documental sobre los orfanatos chinos que TVE emitió en 1995 y ganó numerosos premios. Fue impactante ver a esas niñas muriendo de hambre atadas a las camas. La protagonista fue una criatura llamada MEI MING (sin nombre en chino), pues ese fue el nombre que se me vino a la cabeza al ver a esta perrita esquelética en la jaula donde la tenían muriendo de hambre.
MEI MING es una Shar Pei, aunque nadie lo diría. Quien la tenía me dijo que la iba a llevar a la perrera, y cuando fui a verla y hacerle fotos jamás imaginé que iba a encontrar a un animalito en este estado. Como véis es un verdadero esqueleto, no creo que pase los 10 kilos, cuando el peso normal de su raza es entre 18 y 29 kilos. No pudimos dejarla allí mientras la difundíamos porque cualquier día amanecería muerta en la jaula rodeada de sus propios excrementos, como estaba, o bien acabaría en la perrera donde acabarían con ella nada más verla.... nos la trajimos al Refugio, aunque ya hace mucho que no tenemos sitio para más y tampoco es el mejor sitio para una perrita en este estado. La tenemos en un recinto muy pequeño pero al menos tiene comida, está limpia, tiene una cama calentita y todo el amor que podemos ofrecerle. La perrita, a pesar de su delgadez, está activa, y devora la comida rápidamente. Cuando los demás perritos rodean donde ella está, ladrándole, MEI MING se incorpora de su reciente descubrimiento (una cama!!!!) y les mueve el rabito sin emitir ni un ladrido. Rogamos una casa de acogida para ella, donde puedan cuidarla como ella merece, y ayudarla a recuperarse del tremendo estado de delgadez en que se encuentra. Ahora mismo no podemos hacerle analíticas hasta que no se recupere un poquito, sería una odisea encontrarle una vena para sacarle sangre. Necesitamos igualmente ayuda económica para llevarla al vete y que le haga un examen exhaustivo, también para comprarle pienso y latas energéticas y seguramente vitaminas porque las necesita.[/FONT] [B]Información adicional[/B]

MING MEI is a Shar Pei, seems like anything but. Whoever said I was going to take her to the pound, and when I went to see it and take pictures I never thought I would find an animal in this state. As you can see is a skeleton, I do not pass the 10 kilos, normal weight when the race is between 18 and 29 kilos. We could not leave her there while because any day would dawn reproduced them dead in the cage surrounded by her own excrement, as was, or end up at the pound where she would kill on sight .... We brought her to the shelter, though long since we have no room for more and it's not the best place for a dog in this state. The grounds have a very small but at least have food, is clean, has a warm bed and all the love we can offer. The dog, despite its thinness, is active, and eats fast food. When the other dogs around where she is, barking, MING MEI incorporates its recent discovery (a bed!!) And the tail moves them without uttering a bark. Please a foster home for her, where they can take care of her as she deserves, and help it recover from the terrible state of thinness found. Right now we can not give analytical until it recovers a little, it would be an ordeal to find a vein to draw blood. We also need financial help to get her to go and to do a thorough examination, and I also buy cans energy and vitamins because surely need.
