SL65 is a typical GMI design.

After analysing the differences between a GMI-board and a SMT board its now clear that there is no chance to get the EL-700 firm runnig on a GMI board. There is a total different using of some pin groups of the ALI processor. For instance the pins 55 to 58 are used as display driver on the SMT board. The same pins are used for a activ voltage controller and standby circuit for the tuner on the GMI board. Beside this important matter some other lines have a totally different meaning on both board.

So next step would be to change the EL-700 soft in that way that it supports the GMI hardware. But until now there is nothing known about the processor, disassembler or assembler.
