Dicho deco esta capado por el Fw de quiero, de ahi mi pregunta que posibilidad hay de cambiarle el FW. Recuerdo que los ultimos tiempos de Quiero Tv se podian abrir los canales con una AVR3 sabiendo la bk que se sacaba de con un jtag adelantos que nos llegaban casi todos de portugal ya que el deco es muy parecido al que se utilizaba para la recepcion de los canales de Cabo t.v.
El deco con un Fw sin capar tiene potencialmente varias ventajas desde la posibilidad de Pcmcia, los tarjeteros, un Fw multisistema etc..
No se alguien sabe algo mas del tema pero aqui sequeda el hilo abierto.

La verdad es que todo eso se perdió, estoy intentando buscar informacion de estos decos pero no encuentro nada.
Con un jtag de patel se puede leer las dos flash AM29DL323CT pero hasta ahí nada mas.

A ver si entra alguien por aqui y posee alguna informacion de estos decos que nos pueda ayudar.

No se si servira de mucho pero he estado buscando informacion sobre este deco para actualizar el firmware y por lo visto es muy parecido al sagem 4110 (creo que estos decos los usan en suecia), he encontrado en un foro aleman esto son cosas que creo ya conocemos pero bueno ahi van por si acaso:

Problems with a Sagem IDT 4410 digital cablebox.
At power-on it´s flashing "init" in the LCD.
Nothing else happens! No picture!

Regarding my faulty Sagem IDT4410:
Satfan123 says I need a reference model to copy files from!
I also have a full working Sagem IDT4410.
Is it possible to copy files from it?
If possible, how do I do that?


when it is the same flash type at this two modelss you can desolder the flash read it and then programm it to the other_one

Regarding my previous problem with a Sagem terrestrial-box:

I have to re-program the EEprom and have found a
8 pin IC_on the motherboard: 24C64N

Problem:
It is a SMD-type!
My programmer is for "normal" sized IC.

Desolder it and solder small leads to every pin
and then fit into the programmer??
Or....?

I have to desolder the chip from my working IDT4410.
Then read it and resolder it back in place.
What if I accidently break off a pin or in some way manage to make it unfunctional?
Is it not possible to find the correct data to input somewhere here at electronicwerkstatt??

Is it possible to read via the RS232 port at the rearside of the box?? (What is the port for anyway?)..???
