aver desde que me compre este ordenador solo me reconoce 3,25gb de ram y tiene instalados 4x1gb DDR2-667 Samsung
yo pienso que sera por la BIOS porque con el Ultimate boot cd al hacer el testeo de memoria me pone tambien 3328mb. he probado de todo. el chipset es intel Q35 la placa es MSI.

que me decis?

mira a ver si tienes el video integrado en la placa y te roba lo que te falta. deberia haber una opción en la bios en la que pongas el tamaño de ese robo

tengo grafica nVidia 8400GS

he mirado porai y me he enterado que esta placa esta muy limitada por medion oem y que igual actualizando la bios puede que reconozca los 4gb.en la placa no hay ninguna opcion de la memoria,ademas el inicio es muy feo y el setup tambien.
igual me compro otra y le hago overclock y le saco mas partido ami Q6600

tengo xp pro pero antes tenia vista y tambien xp x64 y la memoria esra en todos 3,25

el everest me dice correctamente lo que tengo en los modulos pero en "placa base-->Memoria-->memoria fisica = 3326mb"

y segun he leido por ahi esta limitada la placa por medion por eso lo vendian barato.

que placa me recomendais?

los testes que has hexo eran individuales o juntos
has hecho un teste al los zocalos?

de tema de la placa base
es para jugar o ofimatica ?
para ofimatica te aguantara los proximos 5 a 7 años
para juegos en un tema bastante dificil de decir depende de cada un a que juega y como le afecta la crisis lol
pero te dejo una pagina en que podes comprobar se tu pc ainda funciona para los juegos o se es mejor tirarlo pela ventana

es que es una placa base oem que no se muy bien que es pero me suena que es algo limitada ala original porque en la original salen mas conectores sata y algunas cosas mas.
ademas la bios tambien esta limitada por eso vendian barato el equipo.

que placa me recomendais de unos 70€?

segun la ley ( oem ) solo se pueden vender ese producto en equipos nuevos
y non clones EJ: el windows xp pro OEM pero los vendedores les da igual
has probado actualizar la bios? en la pagina oficial

arranco con disco de arranque (porque no tengo disquetera) entonces pongo prompt

cd\test (porque los tengo guardados en C:\test)
entonces pongo

pero ya no se seguir me da un monton de instrucciones y no me aclaro
ejemplo /0 segun entiendo yo es para guardar la version antigua (mi nivel de ingles es muy bajo)
luego hay
/NCB y un monton mas

4. Extract the file you have downloaded to a floppy (not the win ME/98 startup floppy) by double clocking the file in windows mode and supplying the path a:\

5. Boot the computer using windows ME or windows 98 startup disk. It must be one of these! A plain boot disk will not be good enough.
If you do not have Windows ME or 98 to create the floppy you can make one on a friend's computer.

6. When boot is done there will be a message on the screen showing:"Diagnostic tools were successfully loaded to drive" followed by a single letter.
This letter is the letter assigned to the RAMDRIVE. This RAMDRIVE is a virtual drive in the system memory and can be accessed and controlled like any other drive with DOS commands such as:
MD - Make Directory
Copy - copy a file
Delete - Delete a file

There is one important difference which is that being in the system memory this drive is wiped once the computer is restarted or shut down.

7. Replace the startup floppy with the one containing the flash utility and bios ROM files previously extracted in windows.

8. Copy the 2 files to the RAMDRIVE by using the DOS command copy.
Here is an example, in this example the flash utility is AWFL865.EXE ,the ROM file is W7100NMS.110 and the RAMDRIVE letter assignment is D

copy awfl865.exe d:\
copy w7100nms.110 d:\

9. Change the current working directory to the RAMDRIVE root directory, with the example case of the RAMDRIVE being drive D this is done by simply done with the command d:

10. Execute the flash utility with the ROM file as a command line argument, with this example:
awfl865 w7100nms.110

If you wish to save the current bios you must specify the full path a:\filename. Specifying only a file name will save the bios to the RAMDRIVE which will be wiped after restarting the computer and the file will not be saved.

a:\bios.old is an example of the correct way to save the bios.

pues nada que no es por la bios.

es por el sistema operativo.

hable con uno de mediamark y me explico todo.

el xp solo reconoce 3,25gb porque le pregunte si ha un portatil que mi primo se compro de alla le puedo poner xp y me dijo eso.
es que yo instalaba el vista pero el vista reconoce los 4gb con el sp1. (y yo no tenia el sp1)

ademas me empezo a contar el que tiene (3 HDD de 15000rpm SAS en RAID,4ventiladores de 2dB ajustables cada uno,una caja no se que de 14kg de aluminio 8gb de ram DDR 1600MHz placa de ASUS edicion extreme etc )
entre otras cosas me recomendo el vista server 64 que segun el es el que mejor le va de todos los sistemas operativos que tiene instalados.
